Editorial websites, designed and built. Why WordPress
WordPress still runs more of the web than any other CMS, for good reason: roles, revisions, scheduling and an editor that large content teams already know. It goes wrong when plugins pile up and every page is built differently. We build lean custom themes with block patterns, so publishing stays quick and the site stays maintainable.

A few things worth discussing before your WordPress project takes shape.
A WordPress development agency designs, builds and maintains WordPress websites. Stega builds custom themes with block patterns, migrates content, connects forms to your CRM and reduces plugin sprawl, so editors publish quickly on a site that stays maintainable.
The cost depends on the number of templates, custom post types, integrations and how much content we migrate. Hosting and premium plugin licences are extra. You get a fixed scope and price after discovery.
Large content migrations, multilingual setups and complex integrations add time. We agree milestones up front, and editors test the block patterns with real content before launch.
Custom Gutenberg blocks are usually the better choice for a WordPress site that must stay fast and consistent. Page builders like Elementor add weight and let every page drift in style. We build block patterns that give editors freedom inside the design system.
A WordPress site should run only the plugins it needs, each with a clear purpose and an active maintainer. The count matters less than quality and overlap. Our plugin audit flags unused, duplicated or abandoned plugins, then we remove them or replace them with theme code.
WordPress is still a good CMS for businesses with large editorial teams, lots of existing content or plugins they depend on. For small marketing teams, the plugin and hosting upkeep often outweighs the benefits, and Webflow or Astro may fit better.
