What's included
Medusa gives you the building blocks. We shape them into the store, the logic and the tools your team needs.
A Next.js storefront on Medusa's Store API, designed for your catalogue, with fast product pages and a cart that holds up at peak traffic.
Configurators, bundles, subscriptions or B2B price lists modelled in Medusa, so the way customers buy matches the way you sell.
Cart, payment and fulfilment connected through Medusa's providers, tested for every region and currency you sell in.
Custom modules, workflows and admin widgets for the logic no plugin covers, in TypeScript your team can read and maintain.
Security, by consideration.
For your Medusa project, we consider storefront APIs, backend services, payment connections and operational access as part of one connected build.
See our approachGitHub workflows, peer review and dependency checks bring decisions into the release process.
Certificate configuration, HTTPS and secure headers help protect the path between your users and your systems.
Scoped tool access, validated inputs and human approval where automated actions carry consequences.
Commerce logic gets designed on paper before a line of code.
Products, pricing, regions and order flow mapped to Medusa modules and custom logic.
Storefront, modules, workflows and admin extensions built and demoed every sprint.
End-to-end order tests across payment methods, regions and edge cases, then go-live.

A few things worth discussing before your Medusa.js developers takes shape.
The Medusa admin dashboard is extended with widgets injected into existing pages and UI routes that add new pages. Both are React components built with Medusa's UI library, so they match the rest of the admin. We use them to put ERP status, custom approvals or B2B tools where your ops team already works.
Medusa.js stays upgradable after custom development when customisations live in modules, workflows, links and admin extensions rather than edits to core packages. That is how we build. We keep a changelog of custom code and test each Medusa release on staging before it reaches production.
Medusa modules are self-contained packages for one commerce domain, such as products, carts, pricing or fulfilment, that you can extend or replace. Medusa workflows chain steps across modules and outside systems, with compensation logic that undoes earlier steps if a later one fails.
Cost depends on the data model, the workflows around it, any admin screens and the outside systems it talks to. A pricing rule is small. A B2B quoting module with approvals is a larger build. You get a fixed scope after the modelling phase.
