A Webflow site where every membership click can be counted.
Altea's website was moving to Webflow, and the team needed numbers it could trust. We kept years of reporting history, added events for real intent, put consent in front of every tracker and followed the visitor through to checkout.

The problem
The site moved to Webflow, and the numbers had to move with it.
Altea sells memberships through tours, enquiries and a checkout that lives on a separate app. Its Tag Manager container and GA4 property held years of reporting history that a fresh setup would have thrown away. Nobody could say with confidence how many visits turned into tours, or which campaign started a membership.
- Reporting history that a new tracking setup would have wiped.
- No clear events for confirmed leads, tour requests or membership clicks.
- A website and a checkout app that saw the same person as two strangers.
The solution
Measure real intent, with consent, from first visit to checkout.
We built on what Altea already had instead of starting over. New events went into the existing container, consent decides which trackers may run, and the website hands its visitor to the checkout app so a purchase links back to the visit that started it.

Our intervention
What we took on.
Measurement came first. Hosting, email design and a staff email signature builder followed.
- 01
Tracking that kept its history
GA4 key events for confirmed leads, tours and membership clicks, published through the existing Tag Manager container during the cutover to Webflow.
- 02
Our own cookie consent
Stega's consent script, served from Altea's own CDN, switches trackers on and off. We tested refusal end to end, as hard as acceptance.
- 03
PostHog on site and checkout
Product analytics with plain-language event names, a live feed of key actions and visitor identity passed through to the checkout app.
- 04
Virtual tour and newsletter
The West Edmonton virtual tour on an Altea subdomain through Vercel, and a newsletter template designed in Figma from measurements of the live site.

The Stega fix
Trust the data before anyone acts on it.
Tracking breaks quietly. A tag fires twice, a refusal gets ignored, a checkout loses the visitor. We test each step on the live site before we call it done.
Keep the history
New events went into the container Altea already had, so year-on-year reports still compare like with like.
Consent first
No tracker runs until the visitor's choice allows it, and a refusal is honoured on every page.
One visitor, website to checkout
The website passes its visitor ID to the checkout app, so a membership purchase connects to the page and campaign that started it.
Stega initiatives
What comes next.
With measurement in place, the work is moving toward retention and growth.
Newsletter on Webflow
We are moving the monthly member newsletter off flat Canva images into a Webflow template with real text, tracking and a noindex tag.
Email redesign
We have proposed new directions for tour and member emails, built on Altea's own newsletter format, and are waiting on the team's pick.
Member app redesign
We are redesigning the MyAltea member app in Figma, starting from a shared component library for iOS, Android and desktop.
