A few things worth discussing before your Shopify optimisation takes shape.
A slow Shopify store is usually weighed down by app scripts, large images, heavy theme code or too many fonts. Shopify's hosting is fast, so the cause sits in what the store loads. Removing unused apps is often the quickest win, because their code can remain after uninstalling.
A good conversion rate for a Shopify store is one that beats your own baseline. Published averages mix impulse buys with considered purchases, and paid traffic with loyal customers, so they mislead. We measure your rate by traffic source and device, then set a target for each step.
The first month covers the audit, speed fixes and a test backlog. After that, the fee covers building, running and reading experiments. Stores with low traffic get fixes and research instead of A/B tests.
A/B tests run on a Shopify store through testing apps, theme-based split tests or a tool such as Optimizely or PostHog. A store needs enough orders for a test to reach a clear result. With lower traffic, we test bigger changes or use customer research instead.
Your ambition. Our collective craft.
